hi, i’m christine 👋🏼 i’m a UX Designer based in Washington, DC.

my journey to ui/ux started with a persistent curiousity of how things worked. i studied mechanical engineering in undergrad and loved developing tangible solutions to everyday problems.

this passion for innovation led me to my position as a patent examiner. at the patent office, i have seen creative ideas and learned how important it is to showcase the novel details behind your invention. however i no longer want to be examining cutting edge designs, i desire to be creating them!

if i am not doing my usual hobbies of crocheting, playing Tetris, or reading then i am probably finding new hobbies to add to my rotation. just like Tetris, i relish arranging whatever pieces come my way and continuing to reach new levels (pls laugh). i’m eager to hear about new opportunities!
